Hotel Reservations Agent

About the role

The Grand Hotel, a four‑star property in Malahide, is seeking a motivated Reservations Agent to join its Sales & Reservations team. You will be responsible for handling guest bookings, supporting fellow agents, and ensuring a seamless reservation experience across both hotel locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming reservations and respond to guest enquiries promptly.
• Support other reservation agents with individual bookings and complex requests.
• Maintain accurate room inventory and rate codes using the hotel CMS, OTA extranets, and channel manager.
• Contribute to yield management to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Prepare departmental reports and assist the manager with daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel reservations or similar front‑office role.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to high service standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, both within a team and independently.
