Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant (Part‑time Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant to join Wygram Nursing Home on a part‑time, six‑month fixed‑term basis. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for our residents while supporting the laundry team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in common areas and residents’ rooms.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks and ensure rooms are tidy and safe.
• Monitor consumable stock levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Assist with waste management and proper disposal.
• Support the laundry staff with daily laundry operations.
• Follow safe work practices at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or laundry role.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Professional, caring attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Garda clearance and suitable character references.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
