HR Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our fast‑paced manufacturing organisation in County Cavan. You will work closely with managers and the HR team to deliver strategic and operational HR solutions that support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive HR support across recruitment, attendance, health management, grievance, disciplinary and capability processes.
• Coach managers and employees on performance management, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage employee‑relations cases, delivering expert advice while ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Produce accurate HR data, insights and reports for the Head of HR and HR Director to aid workforce planning.
• Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee general administration, office management and coordination of company activities and events.
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures and the employee handbook.
• Recommend case outcomes and corrective actions, balancing business needs with fairness.
• Champion company values and foster a culture of challenge, urgency, openness and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of HR experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and results‑focused.
• Excellent HR administration and people‑management capabilities.
• Strong communication, engagement and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee‑relations cases and interpret employment legislation.
• Problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑changing environment.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with a focus on delivering results.
