HR Business Partner – Multi‑site Retail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a fast‑growing multi‑site retail business in Meath. This commercial‑focused role works closely with store managers and operational leaders, driving people initiatives that enhance engagement, retention and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR partner to store managers and operational leadership across multiple locations.
• Support delivery of people strategies that improve engagement, retention and business results.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
• Lead recruitment, succession planning and workforce planning for the retail network.
• Coach managers on people‑management best practice and Irish employment legislation.
• Deliver HR projects, employee‑engagement initiatives and change‑management programmes.
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures across all sites.
• Analyse people metrics to identify opportunities for improving employee experience and performance.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist.
• Experience supporting managers in a multi‑site retail, hospitality, FMCG or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence operational leaders.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• CIPD qualification or relevant third‑level qualification preferred.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.
