HR Generalist – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time HR Generalist to become the single point of contact for all human‑resources matters at our Malahide Road nursing home. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff by delivering day‑to‑day HR services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily HR operations for the nursing home, ensuring compliance with company policies, Irish employment law and GDPR.
• Handle employee relations incidents, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Support recruitment activities – job fairs, CV screening, interview coordination, reference checks and onboarding.
• Prepare communications, PowerPoint presentations and regular HR reports (absenteeism, training, etc.).
• Administer HR documentation such as contracts, work permits, visas, starters, leavers and transfers.
• Collaborate with Payroll and other support functions to guarantee smooth payroll processing and project delivery.
• Maintain audit‑ready status for the home and ensure adherence to nursing‑home regulations and HIQA standards.
• Participate in team‑development initiatives and deliver training as required.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability, based at the Malahide Road facility with occasional head‑office presence.
• Proven experience in HR operations within a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation, GDPR and employee‑relations processes.
• Familiarity with nursing‑home regulations and HIQA compliance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
