HR Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg Medical Ireland Ltd. In this position you will act as the primary liaison for employee and manager issues while ensuring smooth operation of our time‑keeping and recruitment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day employee/manager liaison for all HR matters.
• Administer the Time and Attendance System (TMS): enroll, train and support staff, troubleshoot system errors, and maintain leave records and reporting.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment, manage the internal hiring process, maintain the Careers page and source candidates via LinkedIn.
• Maintain and implement HR and training policies in line with legislation and company terms.
• Coordinate performance review programmes and pre‑employment medical administration.
• Support internal and external audits, corrective‑action programmes, and continuous‑improvement projects such as 5S and lean initiatives.
• Organise company events, service awards and other employee‑engagement activities.
• Perform other duties as required to support business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar HR role, especially recruitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong computer literacy, including Internet Explorer and Microsoft Excel.
