Human Resources Manager – Manufacturing Site (Sligo)

About the role
The Human Resources Manager will be a key contributor to a manufacturing site in Sligo, Ireland. Reporting to the Site Leadership Team, the role drives HR strategy, builds a high‑engagement culture and ensures compliance with Irish employment law.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver HR strategies, programs and services that align with business objectives.
- Partner with the Site Leadership Team to foster a culture of high employee engagement, performance, diversity and inclusion.
- Coach business leaders on talent pipeline development, retention and organizational effectiveness.
- Analyse data and survey results to generate insights on talent, culture and engagement.
- Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to implement change‑management and organisational effectiveness initiatives.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, discipline and performance management.
- Ensure legal compliance and work with legal counsel on litigation‑risk situations.
- Oversee employee documentation, status changes, pay and benefits, performance reviews and investigations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Studies or a related discipline (CIPD membership preferred).
- Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist, with expertise in at least one HR specialism.
- Proven track record in employee relations, leadership development and applying HR best practices in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical abilities, with the capacity to influence at all levels.
- Solid understanding of Irish employment law and HR compliance requirements.
- Passion for people, strong business acumen and eagerness to work in a dynamic, growth‑oriented setting.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- Expertise in HR policy development and implementation.
- Strong data‑analysis capabilities for talent and engagement metrics.
- Ability to coach and advise senior leaders on HR matters.
