Human Resources Generalist – Agribusiness & Retail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a leading Irish organisation operating in agribusiness, retail and food sectors. The role will support managers across the employee lifecycle and help drive engagement, compliance and talent development.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide HR advice and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Manage recruitment processes from attraction to onboarding.
• Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with Irish employment legislation.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and internal communications.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction and employee development programmes.
• Assist with talent development and succession planning initiatives.
• Support HR systems, reporting, performance management and time‑and‑attendance processes.
• Contribute to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Experience supporting employee relations and performance management processes.
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using HR systems is advantageous.

• Competitive salary €45,000 – €50,000 per year.
