IAM Consultant – 6 Month Contract

About the role

The client, a large organisation in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant on a six‑month contract. You will work closely with Information Security, IT and business teams to strengthen IAM processes, improve security governance and support compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Joiner‑Mover‑Leaver (JML) policies and related SOPs.
• Support the design and automation of access‑review and user‑recertification processes.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and maintain Active Directory.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve access controls across systems and applications.
• Assist security and compliance programmes, including alignment with NIS2 requirements.
• Provide guidance on IAM best practices and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IAM role within an enterprise or regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and access governance.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement JML processes and IAM automation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
