Instructor / Supervisor – The Pod

About the role

The Pod, part of Sunbeam House Services, is looking for an enthusiastic Instructor / Supervisor to help adults with intellectual disabilities develop skills, confidence and meaningful lives. You will work directly with participants, fostering independence, community inclusion and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate learning activities, educational sessions and community outings.
• Support individuals in setting and achieving personal goals.
• Promote independence and inclusion through person‑centred approaches.
• Collaborate with a creative, supportive team to design and deliver programmes.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Level 6 or 7 qualification in Social Care, Training, Education or a related field.
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
• Passion for person‑centred support and community inclusion.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Full, valid driving licence.
