Integrated Fitness & Swim Instructor

About the role

Join the dynamic Leisure Team at Hillgrove Hotel & Spa as an Integrated Fitness & Swim Instructor. You will create energetic, safe, and enjoyable fitness and swimming experiences for guests of all ages, supporting their health and wellbeing while upholding the highest standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging fitness classes and provide gym floor support for a range of abilities.
• Offer professional guidance on exercise techniques and personalised programmes.
• Teach swimming lessons to individuals and groups, supporting learn‑to‑swim programmes and stroke development.
• Maintain strict pool safety and safeguarding procedures, including lifeguard duties.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in both the gym and pool areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive ambassador for the hotel.

Required profile

• Recognised Fitness Instructor qualification (Level 3 preferred).
• Recognised Swimming Instructor qualification (e.g., Swim Ireland, STA, ASA or equivalent).
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Pool lifeguard qualification.
