Interface Architect

About the role

As an Interface Architect at ResMed, you will be the technical product expert responsible for end‑to‑end data flow and system architecture across the ResMed ecosystem. You will ensure that devices, software, and cloud components work together seamlessly to meet patient and market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end data flow and system architecture for assigned features.
• Define system‑level data flows, acceptance criteria, and interface documentation.
• Evaluate design alternatives with subsystem experts and stakeholders.
• Drive alignment across product teams, business units, and external vendors.
• Identify technical risks early and define mitigation strategies.
• Support planning of over‑the‑air updates and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Computer Engineering, Mechatronics) or Science (e.g., Biophysics) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience with software development processes, agile methodologies, and new product development involving hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
