Internal Communication Specialist

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is within the Business Development & Marketing team of a leading Dublin law firm. You will shape the employee experience by leading internal communications and driving the firm’s Sustainable Business programme across ESG priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead firm‑wide internal communications across intranet, email, app and digital boards.
• Develop and manage the internal communications calendar, creating announcements, leadership messages, campaigns and feature articles.
• Maintain and refresh intranet content to keep it current and engaging.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure consistent, on‑brand messaging.
• Monitor engagement metrics and adjust communications based on insights.
• Coordinate the Sustainable Business programme, developing initiatives in DEI, wellbeing, environmental sustainability, community engagement and pro‑bono.
• Support governance structures such as steering groups and internal committees.
• Manage external relationships with charities, accreditation bodies and industry organisations.
• Oversee sustainability reporting and track progress against commitments.
• Drive colleague engagement through campaigns, events and volunteering.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in internal communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent editorial judgement.
• Proven track record delivering internal engagement campaigns.
• Experience managing intranet platforms, preferably Vuture.
• Effective stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
