Investment Associate – Private Equity (Dublin)

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading private equity firm in Dublin as an Investment Associate. You will work closely with an experienced investment team, gaining exposure to the full investment lifecycle from deal origination to portfolio value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial and commercial analysis to assess potential investments.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions and portfolio reviews.
• Coordinate and evaluate due‑diligence processes across financial, commercial, operational and legal dimensions.
• Support transaction execution, including acquisitions, refinancings and exit processes.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management to monitor performance and drive value‑creation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, advisors, lenders and other market participants.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory, Deals Advisory or a similar environment.
• Background in a Big 4 Deals team, leading advisory firm, investment bank or private equity firm.
• Strong academic record with a consistent track record of achievement.
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
