Investment Director – Remote, Full‑Time

About the role

RGG Capital is seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. This remote, high‑autonomy position combines deep market knowledge with operational rigor to support the firm’s systematic and alternative strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence: source, screen, and evaluate opportunities across strategies and geographies, analysing performance, risk metrics and team capabilities.
• Coordinate the due‑diligence lifecycle: maintain trackers, ensure timely updates, and synthesize findings into comprehensive memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macro research and market analysis: monitor economic data, central‑bank policy and geopolitical events to generate scenario analyses and actionable insights.
• Maintain regular contact with managers to assess strategy evolution, performance attribution and organisational stability.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research and written communication abilities.
• Proven project‑coordination skills in multi‑stakeholder investment environments.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Familiarity with R and SQL (preferred).
