Investment Director – Remote

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. This remote, high‑autonomy role combines deep market knowledge with operational rigor to enhance our portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence, sourcing, screening and evaluating opportunities across strategies and geographies.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, maintain trackers, and synthesize findings into investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macro research, monitor economic data, central bank policies and geopolitical developments to inform portfolio positioning.
• Maintain regular contact with managers to assess strategy evolution, performance attribution and organizational stability.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication and project coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
