About the role
The IT Administrator will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the organization’s computer systems, networks, and infrastructure. You will support end‑users, manage hardware and software assets, and help drive technology improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain computer systems to guarantee optimal uptime.
- Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and related IT equipment.
- Implement security protocols, including antivirus, data backup, and disaster‑recovery plans.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of IT systems.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Implement IT policies to improve efficiency and security.
- Assist in onboarding new employees with IT setups and training.
- Stay updated on technology trends and recommend upgrades.
- Collaborate with vendors and external service providers as needed.
Required profile
- B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco certifications (preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and enterprise software.
- Experience with server management, virtualization, and cloud services is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within teams.
