IT Manufacturing Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated IT professional to provide on‑site Level 2 support for manufacturing and R&D environments. The role works closely with IT Business Partners and Global IT to ensure systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for desktops, operating systems, antivirus, and manufacturing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining proper documentation.
• Support integration of manufacturing systems in line with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Advanced Operations, and R&D teams.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and shift‑left initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards, including patching, antivirus, and firewall management.
• Participate in global IT projects and enterprise system adoption.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
• Support shop‑floor systems and machine‑level integrations.
• Assist with IT operational processes such as incident, problem, change, and asset management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or R&D IT environments.
• ITIL Foundation certification (required).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
