AVEVA PI Engineer (3+ years experience)

About the role

Réalta Technologies is looking for an AVEVA PI Engineer to join its team supporting a pharmaceutical client in Cork. The successful candidate will bring at least three years of experience with AVEVA PI and will be responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance and optimisation of the client’s PI infrastructure. The role is based in Cork and involves close interaction with the client’s operational teams. The engineer will ensure the PI system remains reliable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the AVEVA PI system to meet client requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure high availability of the PI infrastructure.
• Optimise data collection, storage and retrieval processes within the PI environment.
• Collaborate with the client’s technical teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience with AVEVA PI.
• Experience working in an industrial or pharmaceutical setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a client‑focused team.
