Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated newly or part‑qualified accountant to join our dynamic Finance team within a regulated international organisation. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Lead, you will play a key part in delivering accurate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of quarterly, annual and ad‑hoc financial reporting deliverables, including consolidated management reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Produce statutory financial statements, regulatory and compliance submissions, and treasury/funding‑related reports.
• Assist in enhancing reporting processes, controls and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to finance transformation and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the Finance function.
• Collaborate with Finance and other business areas to ensure effective communication of reporting requirements.
• Support adherence to internal governance, control and risk‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of experience in financial services, insurance, banking or a specialised finance environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with group or consolidated reporting; exposure to financial reporting systems or ERP platforms is advantageous.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment and work collaboratively within a team.
