Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated newly‑qualified or part‑qualified accountant to join our dynamic Finance team within a regulated international organisation. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Lead, you will support the preparation and delivery of key financial reporting deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly, annual and ad‑hoc financial reporting in line with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Produce consolidated management reports, financial performance analysis, statutory statements and regulatory submissions.
• Assist with treasury and funding‑related reporting.
• Help enhance reporting processes, controls and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance and other business stakeholders to ensure effective communication of reporting requirements.
• Support adherence to internal governance, control and risk‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of experience in financial services, insurance, banking or a specialised finance environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Good understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with group or consolidated reporting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative, adaptable and strong team‑working attitude.
