Key Account Manager – Trade Channels

About the role

Join Einhell Ireland, a fast‑growing European power‑tool and outdoor‑product brand, as a Key Account Manager. Working closely with the Sales Director, you will develop and execute strategic growth plans to position Einhell as the preferred supplier for trade accounts across Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across merchants, retailers, co‑ops, agricultural merchants, builders’ merchants, hardware and trade channels.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision‑makers to drive long‑term business growth.
• Develop and implement annual Joint Business Plans and negotiate trading agreements.
• Drive in‑store execution through product demonstrations, staff training, promotional activities and new product launches.
• Prepare and present regular business reviews, sales forecasts, performance reports and growth plans.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery of customer objectives and commercial targets.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in field sales or key account management.
• Strong understanding of the Irish independent merchant, co‑op and builders’ merchant sectors.
• Proven ability to build and maintain successful customer relationships at all levels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Commercially astute, proactive and results‑driven.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems and business data analysis.
