Lab IT Administrator – GxP Lab Support (Dublin/Swords)

About the role

We are seeking a Lab IT Administrator to manage GxP‑controlled laboratory IT systems for a pharmaceutical environment in Dublin/Swords. The role ensures reliable operation of lab equipment, servers and software while maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support and administration for laboratory equipment, servers, desktops and associated software.
• Troubleshoot issues across software, hardware, networks and scientific instruments.
• Perform system monitoring, routine maintenance, backups and manage user access rights.
• Author and maintain CSV documentation such as URS, FS/CS, IQ/OQ/PQ, test scripts and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 and Data Integrity standards.
• Collaborate with CSV Lead, system integrators, site IT and operations teams.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for lab IT systems during audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Professional experience in IT or digital roles with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands and implement effective solutions.

Required skills

• Administration of lab equipment, servers and desktops.
• Troubleshooting of software, hardware, networks and scientific instruments.
• System monitoring, backup administration and user access management.
• Creation and maintenance of CSV documentation (URS, IQ/OQ/PQ, SOPs).
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 and Data Integrity principles.
