LATAM Controller

About the role

Meta is looking for an experienced accountant to lead statutory controllership for its Latin American entities. You will own a global statutory control area, drive automation, and shape how controllership operates in a technology‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve the global statutory control process for a portfolio of LATAM entities.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP, regulatory requirements, Meta’s group reporting standards, and SOX.
• Lead AI‑driven automation initiatives that scale accounting and compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide technical judgment on complex multi‑jurisdictional statutory accounting matters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enable business growth in high‑growth markets.
• Design and implement scalable, technology‑enabled processes supporting the evolving operating model.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in statutory accounting and local compliance for international entities.
• Proven track record of leading process automation or transformation in finance.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is valued but not mandatory.
• Comfort using AI and automation tools to improve productivity.
