Lead Solution Specialist, Cloud & DaaS, Europe

About the role

Citrix is looking for a Lead Solution Specialist to drive adoption of its Cloud and DaaS services across Europe. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding enterprise customers through migration of on‑premises workloads to Microsoft Azure and ensuring successful consumption of Citrix DaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical engagements, from high‑impact product demos to Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) delivery.
• Develop ROI‑based business cases and deployment roadmaps aligned with customer priorities.
• Own the technical validation process, defining success criteria and demonstrating performance and security benefits of the Citrix + Azure stack.
• Provide training and expertise to field teams, partners, and customers on the latest Cloud & DaaS capabilities.
• Capture market trends, adoption blockers, and competitive insights to inform product strategy.
• Maintain accurate customer plans and progress updates in CRM to ensure cross‑team alignment.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering within VDI/DaaS or cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record designing and migrating complex enterprise workloads to public cloud environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to model cloud costs and articulate ROI.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Citrix DaaS.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Entra ID, Azure networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, peering) and Azure storage.
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns and VDI/DaaS solutions.
• Presales and solution‑design capabilities.
