Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Learning & Development Specialist to support colleagues and managers across multiple sites in the Republic of Ireland. This hybrid role combines hands‑on training delivery with strategic L&D coordination to enhance capability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate L&D initiatives across Irish sites, both in‑person and virtually.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), updating content to align with operational standards.
• Create and maintain training materials, e‑learning modules, and resources.
• Track training completion, compliance and certification, providing regular stakeholder reports.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations and external professional bodies to ensure consistent training delivery.
• Handle logistical arrangements for training programmes, including venues, travel and materials.
• Process purchase orders for training providers and monitor budget adherence.
• Conduct training needs analysis, measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIPD is preferred.
• Proven experience creating course content and delivering training to diverse audiences.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Experience in a large, fast‑paced retail or corporate environment is a plus.
