Locum Consultant Plastics & Reconstructive Surgeon

About the role

Beaumont Hospital in Dublin is seeking a short‑term locum Consultant in Plastics, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. The appointment is for 37 hours per week under the Public Only Consultants’ Contract 2023 and will serve the Dublin and North East Region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level plastics, reconstructive and aesthetic surgical services on a locum basis.
• Deliver patient care in line with Beaumont Hospital’s clinical standards and protocols.
• Work 37 hours per week across the Dublin and North East Region hospitals.
• Adhere to the terms of the Public Only Consultants’ Contract 2023.

Required profile

• Registered in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners (Medical Council of Ireland) in plastics, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
• Qualified consultant‑level surgeon with experience in the relevant specialties.
• Willingness to work a short‑term locum assignment and flexible working arrangements.
