Logistics Coordinator – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join Univar Solutions in Dublin. In this role you will support the Logistics Manager by planning routes, managing fleet and contracted haulage, and ensuring smooth administration across the logistics function.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate administration and record‑keeping for the logistics department.
• Schedule fleet and contracted haulage to meet service, utilisation and cost objectives.
• Maximise fleet utilisation when planning routes for imports and exports.
• Organise and control contracted haulage, seeking cost reductions where possible.
• Ensure compliance with transportation legal requirements (road, sea, air) and with quality, EHS, insurance, GDP and food‑safety standards.
• Report accidents, incidents and near‑misses in line with company policy.
• Maintain good housekeeping in workstations and vehicles.
• Process purchase and expense returns as required.
• Confirm timely delivery of dispatched and received orders.
• Oversee fleet service and maintenance schedules.
