Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

DocuSign is seeking a passionate Machine Learning Engineer to design and deliver state‑of‑the‑art AI solutions for its Agreement Cloud. You will work on text mining, deep learning, and document processing to create more personalized and automated customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Research, test, and evaluate emerging NLP/ML/DL methods for contractual and legal data.
• Apply NLP techniques to extend rule‑based, supervised, and unsupervised pipelines.
• Develop and fine‑tune models for tasks such as named entity recognition, POS tagging, parsing, sentiment analysis, clustering, and text prediction.
• Collaborate with the ML team to deploy models into production environments.
• Work with product management to define robust, customer‑agnostic success metrics.
• Maintain and improve training data pipelines and model monitoring processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring machine‑learning solutions.
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts and ability to implement both rule‑based and learning‑based approaches.
• Experience with end‑to‑end software development, including code release and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate product requirements into measurable ML outcomes.
