Maintenance Site Team Leader – Warehouse Automation

About the role

Exotec is launching its maintenance operations in Ireland and is looking for a Maintenance Site Team Leader to oversee the upkeep of advanced warehouse automation and robotics systems at a leading food & beverage distributor. This hands‑on position combines technical work on site with the responsibility of building and leading a small team of technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of on‑site Maintenance Technicians.
• Provide direct technical support and guidance during daily maintenance activities.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment availability.
• Monitor system performance, generate regular reports and act on escalations promptly.
• Maintain material purchasing within budget and coordinate third‑party inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards for all site personnel and visitors.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or warehouse setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a small technical team.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and client personnel.
