Manager, Employee Relations EMEA

About the role

Stryker is looking for a Manager, Employee Relations EMEA based in Cork, working in a hybrid arrangement. The role leads HR investigations across a high-volume portfolio of cases spanning several countries and divisions, advises managers and HRBPs, and supports the development of employee relations standards and training.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct HR investigations, including intake, planning and interviews, recommendations, determinations and reporting and insights analysis, and keep relevant managers and HRBPs updated on status
• Make recommendations to HRBPs and leadership on investigations and employee relations issues, and provide additional support on complex cases
• Analyze HR investigation, employee relations and other data trends to mitigate risk and support a culture of integrity, partnering with HR and managers to drive improvements
• Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies and standards of conduct by initiating investigations with Legal, Compliance and local HR teams
• Advise managers and HRBPs, submit recommendations and help take steps in response to employee relations matters
• Develop and deliver training to managers, employees and HRBPs, and define standards and processes for employee relations across EMEA/EEMEA
• Coach HRBPs on employee relations and work environment matters, and coordinate with compliance and legal on employee discipline investigations
• Report investigation results, trends and analysis to oversight committees and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws and regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; a degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience
• Experience in employee relations, investigations or business-facing HR is preferred
