Manager, Reliability Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Manager, Reliability Engineering to lead our Business Operations (BizOps) team in ensuring production‑readiness and driving the DevOps transformation across Mastercard’s platform. In this role you will partner closely with developers, product owners and operations teams to embed reliability, automation and risk‑management practices into the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the production‑readiness steward, overseeing system availability, capacity, performance, monitoring and self‑healing capabilities.
• Design, build, implement and support technology services that enable automated deployment and continuous delivery.
• Lead the DevOps transformation by promoting tooling, standards and cultural change across development, quality, release and product groups.
• Drive triage and root‑cause analysis for incidents, focusing on business impact and proactive “shift‑left” improvements.
• Manage risk, compliance and mitigation activities across all environments.
• Standardise and centralise support processes, acting as the primary point of interaction for internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience working across development, operations and product teams.
• Strong appetite for change and ability to influence technical and cultural adoption of DevOps practices.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and the capacity to prioritize competing needs.
• Track record of delivering reliable, automated production environments at scale.
