About the role
Google’s Trust & Safety team protects users and partners across its products by identifying and mitigating abuse, fraud, and other threats. As a Manager, User Safety Operations you will lead a global team to design and execute strategies that ensure the highest levels of user safety and trust.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen global partnerships with executive stakeholders and serve as a trusted domain expert to advance Trust & Safety goals.
- Deliver persuasive, nuanced communications to diverse audiences and align cross‑functional partners.
- Lead, mentor, and hold teams accountable, aligning individual growth with organizational OKRs.
- Drive high‑impact projects from concept to completion, turning ambiguous challenges into systematic Trust & Safety solutions.
- Set clear role expectations, provide regular coaching, and foster a culture of psychological safety and open collaboration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 + years of experience in data analytics, trust & safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of people‑management experience leading a team.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD, 7 + years in fraud/risk investigations, content operations, policy enforcement, program or operations management, and 3 + years of people‑management in an operations environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong influencing skills.
