Manager/Senior Manager – Corporate Tax Consulting for PLCs

About the role

Our Corporate Tax team at PwC advises Irish‑headquartered PLCs and large corporates on tax structuring, technology solutions and compliance. As a Manager or Senior Manager you will work closely with heads of tax and senior client personnel to shape and implement tax strategies across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to identify and implement optimal tax solutions, including acquisitions, disposals, overseas expansions and tax‑efficient financing.
• Advise on the taxation aspects of complex transactions and support the adoption of tax technology tools.
• Monitor and interpret new legislation such as the Pillar 2 regime, ensuring clients remain compliant.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and learning‑focused environment.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives within the practice and for client engagements.
• Promote risk‑management and compliance procedures across engagements.
• Collaborate effectively across geographic and cultural boundaries.
• Attract, develop and retain talent, and lead multiple engagements to successful delivery.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate tax consulting for Irish PLCs or large corporates.
• Strong knowledge of international tax law and emerging policies such as Pillar 2.
• Proven ability to work with senior client stakeholders and deliver strategic tax advice.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and talent‑development capabilities.
• Comfort with digital tools and a proactive approach to technology adoption.
• Excellent risk‑management mindset and ability to operate in a cross‑border environment.
