Manufacturing Engineer II

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer II will drive systematic and strategic improvements to manufacturing equipment performance, focusing on throughput, yield and reliability. You will work cross‑functionally to resolve technical and quality issues while aligning activities with the plant’s Enterprise Excellence strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Track and report daily, weekly and monthly KPIs for specific equipment, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Lead process‑improvement projects, evaluate competitive‑advantage solutions and manage associated CAPEX.
• Support shift leads and area managers by providing line support and troubleshooting technical and quality problems.
• Develop, optimise and coordinate planned maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory, source appropriate components and ensure compliance with regulations (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GMP, ISO, etc.).
• Coach and mentor team members to build technical capability.

Required profile

• Ability to align all activities with the overall plant strategy and Enterprise Excellence (CLEAR Vision) system.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GMP, ISO and EHS&S.
• Experience leading process‑improvement initiatives and managing CAPEX projects.
• Proven capability to support operations and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and technical problem solving.
