Manufacturing Engineer II – Spiddal, Galway

About the role

Integer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join its Galway operations. The role focuses on applying engineering methods to support the design, development and improvement of medical‑device manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Apply general engineering methods and tools, and adopt advanced technologies as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems, safety, environmental, security and FDA regulations.
• Work independently with occasional guidance to evaluate, select and adapt standard engineering techniques.
• Review procedures and plans before implementation and conduct failure analysis of products, processes and materials.
• Participate in moderate‑complexity projects to develop, document and implement new product and process technologies.
• Plan, schedule and execute engineering tasks within larger projects or lead smaller‑scope projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems.
• Understanding of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations applicable to medical devices.
