Manufacturing Engineer – Production Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our regulated production environment in Limerick. The role focuses on maintaining safe, efficient and compliant manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day process performance and troubleshoot equipment or process issues.
• Assist with safety, quality, yield and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, maintenance and other teams to implement engineering solutions.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and validation activities.
• Support change control, documentation and continuous‑improvement projects, including new equipment introductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Automation or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of post‑qualification engineering experience.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and structured approach to documentation and compliance.

Required skills

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• Familiarity with validation, change control and regulatory documentation.
