Marketing Automation Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

Grifols is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join its international digital team. The role will design, launch and optimise omnichannel campaigns across email, SMS and WhatsApp, using CRM data and automation tools to drive acquisition, engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and optimise omnichannel campaigns (email, SMS, WhatsApp) to support customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
• Leverage CRM, customer data and marketing automation platforms to build personalised customer journeys.
• Create and refine automated workflows using behavioural triggers, lead‑nurturing sequences and segmentation.
• Analyse campaign performance and customer data to generate insights and inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated, multi‑channel marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing automation or digital marketing role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage projects and stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with interest in innovation and AI tools.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS and SQL for campaign creation and data handling.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Marketing Cloud.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, data management, integrations, segmentation and field mapping.
• Familiarity with CMS and landing‑page creation, including customer‑journey mapping.
• Advanced analytics, reporting and insight generation.
