Marketing & Events Executive

About the role

The Marketing & Events Executive will support the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of integrated corporate hospitality, conferences, sponsorships, events and campaigns that promote the firm’s services, expertise, client experience and brand. Working closely with partners, practice areas and the wider Markets team, the role ensures activities are coordinated, commercially focused, on‑brand and delivered to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of internal and external events, sponsorship activations, client hospitality programmes and webinars.
• Coordinate event logistics, including invitations, RSVPs, materials, suppliers, digital platforms and venue arrangements.
• Research event, sponsorship and client‑engagement trends, emerging technologies and industry best practice.
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of external conferences, sponsorships and speaking opportunities.
• Maintain client data, invitation lists and reporting on the CRM, ensuring GDPR compliance and data accuracy.
• Track attendance, evaluate event outcomes and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, venues and event partners.
• Contribute ideas, insights and feedback to improve processes and maximise marketing impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GDPR requirements and data‑privacy best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners and cross‑functional teams.
