Mechanical Operator - Busbar Installer

About the role

Vertiv is looking for an experienced Mechanical Operator/Busbar Installer to join its Letterkenny manufacturing site. This stable, hands‑on position supports production processes by safely operating machinery, monitoring quality output and helping the team meet daily production targets in a structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor process performance and quality output.
• Carry out routine machine setup, adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.
• Report equipment faults, production issues and deviations.
• Support the team in achieving daily production targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety and Quality procedures.
• Participate in shift work and overtime as required.

Required profile

• Experience operating machinery or equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate according to SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Busbar installation experience.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with electromechanical systems (desirable).
• Previous shift‑work experience (desirable).
