Multi skilled Maintenance Technician

About the role

Aggreko is seeking a Multi‑skilled Maintenance Technician to join its field team across several locations in Ireland. You will be responsible for maintaining a range of equipment, ensuring reliability, safety and compliance with ISO and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Aggreko QHSE procedures and maintain awareness of all relevant regulations.
• Carry out repairs, testing and overhauls on generators, fluid chillers, air handlers, pumps, air‑conditioning units and other electrical equipment.
• Provide technical assistance, training and first‑level advice to staff and customers.
• Document component failures and complete work orders with accurate parts, labour and additional information.
• Conduct safety inspections and support planned maintenance programmes.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in engineering, mechanical, electrical or refrigeration.
• Experience servicing large engines, generators, HGV, plant or agricultural machinery and temperature‑control products.
• Refrigerant handling (F‑gas) and CITB brazing certification.
• Good organisational, communication and PC literacy (MS Office).
• Full, clean and valid driving licence and ability to keep vehicle to GSCS standards.
