Newly Qualified Accountant – Insurance Financial Advisory

About the role

Are you a newly qualified ACA or ACCA looking to build your career beyond audit? Our client, a leading global advisory firm, is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join its specialist Insurance Financial Advisory team in Dublin. You will work with leading insurance organisations across Ireland and the United States, gaining exposure to financial reporting, finance transformation and advisory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of financial reporting and advisory assignments for insurance clients.
• Assist with statutory accounting and compliance projects.
• Provide technical accounting support under IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP.
• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with client finance teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement projects across client finance functions.

Required profile

• Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Previous insurance experience is essential (Life or Non‑Life).
• Background in external audit, financial advisory or industry finance.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Eager to learn and develop within a specialist advisory environment.
