Newly Qualified Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to join a growing professional services firm in Dublin on a hybrid basis. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client portfolio, develop advisory experience and build both technical and commercial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering year‑end accounts, management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value.
• Take ownership of accounting assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards, including FRS 102.
• Deliver technical accounting and advisory work, providing practical recommendations.
• Research legislative and standards changes, assessing implications for clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support and mentor junior team members and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• Newly qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an accounting or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and FRS 102.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and committed to high‑quality client service.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of cloud accounting platforms such as Xero.
• Proficiency with FRS 102 and other financial reporting standards.
