Operations Assistant – Goods In & Out

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Operations Assistant to support our professional kitchen catering business. The role combines goods‑in and goods‑out duties, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of products.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders, reporting any shortages, damages or discrepancies.
• Store stock safely and accurately, maintaining traceability and complying with HACCP procedures.
• Pick customer and internal orders accurately, pack products securely and load/unload vehicles safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment and follow all Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety procedures.
• Support colleagues with internal deliveries and other operational duties as required.

Required profile

• Full, clean Category B driving licence.
• Reliable, punctual and organised with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle manual tasks.
