Operations Director – Ireland

About the role

The Operations Director will lead service, maintenance and technical operations across Ireland for a fast‑growing technical services organisation. Reporting directly to the business owner, the role offers full autonomy to shape operational performance, drive growth and influence strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead service, maintenance and technical operations across multiple sites in Ireland.
• Drive operational performance, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Develop KPI‑led management and reporting structures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage operational budgets, profitability and commercial performance.
• Lead and develop operational managers, support teams and field‑based engineers.
• Improve service delivery, customer retention and operational efficiency.
• Support business growth and contribute to strategic planning.

Required profile

• Proven senior operational leadership experience in service‑led engineering or technical environments.
• Experience managing multiple customer contracts, regional or national teams and field‑based engineering functions.
• Track record of handling operational budgets, P&L performance and KPI‑driven improvement initiatives.
• Ability to operate in multi‑site, service‑delivery settings and build strong customer relationships.
