Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an execution‑focused Operations Manager to lead the operational backbone of our Limerick site, a European hub for engineering, automation assembly and customer support. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will initially concentrate on project delivery and will evolve into full‑scale operations leadership as the site expands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional project teams across fabrication, assembly, engineering, quality and supply chain.
• Own end‑to‑end project delivery, managing scope, schedule, cost and quality for multiple concurrent projects.
• Drive operational readiness and production coordination on the shop floor.
• Maintain ISO compliance and standardise documentation, filing and scheduling practices.
• Oversee warehouse, scheduling and shipping/receiving functions.
• Manage budgets, track costs and proactively escalate risks.
• Develop and support project managers and shop supervisors within the team.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or project management, preferably in automation or equipment manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional projects and hold teams accountable.
• Strong working knowledge of fabrication, assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems; PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Exposure to lean or continuous‑improvement methodologies is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office.
• Experience using MS Project or Smartsheet for project management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification.
