Project Manager – Manufacturing Engineering & Validation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple manufacturing engineering and validation projects focused on asset replacement, equipment installation, decommissioning, and validation activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Validation, Procurement, Facilities, and external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering and manufacturing projects involving equipment installation, asset replacement, validation, and decommissioning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and documentation.
• Coordinate validation activities for manufacturing equipment, including planning and execution support.
• Manage project budgets, purchase orders, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Drive project governance through effective change control management.
• Organise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) with equipment suppliers.
• Plan manufacturing downtime in collaboration with Operations to minimise production impact.
• Facilitate cross‑functional project meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Maintain project information and reporting within project management systems such as OnePPM.
• Prepare and present project status updates, risks, budgets, and milestone progress to PMO and senior leadership.
