Operations Supervisor

About the role

Stryker is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead and mentor diverse production teams at its Limerick site. The role operates on a swing shift schedule, alternating between weekdays and evenings, and focuses on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence and complex change initiatives across the business.
• Mentor and develop supervisors, deputising for the Operations Manager.
• Manage production areas and teams to meet customer requirements and KPIs in quality, service, cost, and people development.
• Drive process improvement projects and participate in site operational initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and champion 6S processes.

Required profile

• Degree or master’s in Business, Production Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Proven leadership aptitude with ability to coach, give feedback and manage performance.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/FDA regulatory requirements and health & safety.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Experience with 6S methodology and process improvement tools.
