About the role

Specsavers in Ballina is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join a high‑performing team focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and offers the chance to work with the latest clinical technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Deliver personalized advice and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Utilise advanced equipment such as OCT to support diagnosis.
• Collaborate with store staff to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Contribute to the store’s performance targets and patient satisfaction goals.

Required profile

• Registered with CORU as an Optometrist.
• Strong clinical judgment and a hands‑on approach.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) equipment.
