Part Qualified Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a part‑qualified accountant to join our fast‑paced finance team in West Dublin on a three‑month contract. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant, supporting financial reporting for multiple retail sites and gaining hands‑on experience across month‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts for several retail locations.
• Post journal entries and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage weekly cash controls and support revenue return processes.
• Contribute to group reporting requirements and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Act as a point of contact for auditors and respond to stakeholder queries.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the wider finance team as needed.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting, month‑end processes and reconciliations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment and meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Immediate availability and willingness to work on‑site three days per week.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, particularly with large data sets.
• Experience using ERP systems.
